Audit Scope

The OHS audit includes a detailed verification of compliance with statutory laws and regulations, as well as an analysis of existing documentation and procedures, with a focus on:

1. Occupational safety documentation related to equipment.
2. Workplace procedures and instructions, evaluated for compliance with regulations and actual work practices.
   
3. Occupational risk assessments, verifying their accuracy and current relevance.
4. Additionally, the audit will cover physical working conditions, including an assessment of infrastructure, provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees, and ergonomic conditions.

Assessment Model

Our audit model is based on four complementary stages, providing a comprehensive evaluation of occupational safety conditions:

STAGE 1. Audit Planning and Methodology: Developing a detailed audit plan, schedule, and defining the scope and sampling methodology.

STAGE 2. Verification of Documentation and Procedures: Analyzing the legal and formal accuracy as well as the currency of OHS-related documents.

STAGE 3 On-Site Inspection: Practical verification of the actual conditions
at selected workstations or units, including an assessment of infrastructure, working conditions, equipment, and ergonomics.

STAGE 4. Summary and Recommendations: Preparation of the final report with conclusions and recommendations.

STAGE 1: Audit Planning and Methodology

We begin our audit by developing a detailed audit plan, which will be adapted to the specific nature of your company’s operations. At this stage, together with you representatives, we will determine:

• Audit scope: focused on legal requirements and documentation, with an emphasis on occupational risk assessments and workplace instructions.
• Action schedule: setting the timelines for each stage of the audit.
• Selection of sampling methodology: The audit can be conducted as a full review of all workstations or using a random sample, allowing for an effective and representative assessment of OHS conditions.

STAGE 2: Verification of Documentation and Procedures

• Infrastructure and equipment: assessment of the technical condition of machines, equipment, and buildings from a safety perspective.
• Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees: verification that employees have appropriate PPE, that it is in good condition, and that it is used correctly.
• Working conditions and ergonomics: assessment of workstations in terms of ergonomics, lighting, noise, and other factors that may be harmful or burdensome to health.

STAGE 4: Summary and Recommendations

The final stage of the audit involves preparing a detailed report, which will include:

Audit findings: a description of identified nonconformities, categorized as either systemic or incidental.

Recommendations: specific, practical, and measurable proposals for corrective and preventive actions. These recommendations will be formulated in a way that allows your organization to quickly and effectively implement the necessary changes to improve workplace safety.
