Project management with the Projectopolis game

Project management with the Projectopolis game is a two-day training that provides participants with a solid dose of inspiring experience, a substantial amount of knowledge, and a set of useful tools.

The workshop will begin with a training game. Players will be tasked with planning and constructing new districts of an ancient city. Participant teams will need to assess actual implementation capabilities, reconcile them with client expectations, manage a changing project scope, and estimate the time required to execute their plans.

The experiences gained from the Projectopolis game will enable participants to identify the main challenges of project work, understand the consequences of mistakes, and develop best practices in this area. The trainer will guide the group step by step through the process of defining project objectives and key parameters, specifying requirements and scope of work, allocating resources, and planning the schedule and budget. Participants will experience simulations of various events that may occur during project execution and practice appropriate response strategies in such situations.
