In the game Authority Recipe participants struggle with the challenges of managing their team as a manager in a catering company. The game focuses on the manager’s authority as a tool for managing the team. However, authority has yet to be built, which takes time – and the pressure of the result encourages one to deal with current tasks. The game is based on a model of three types of authority: Principles, Competence and Values and can be used to work with both novice and experienced managers.
