Building awareness of self and others based on the Insights Discovery model

During the two four-hour workshops, participants will learn a typology to help apply the right way to communicate and choose the right actions in the context of working with other people. Dividing the training into two workshops will allow you to confront the knowledge with its practical application in your work and elsewhere.

Module 1

The basis of the Insights Discovery model is a tool that describes a personality profile based on the concept of the prominent Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung. The main idea of the ID model is to know and understand each other’s behavior, accept it, and alter it in such a way as to maximize the benefits of working with others.
Prior to the training, participants will individually complete an Insights Discovery survey to determine their own profile. During the workshop, working on the participants’ profiles, the trainer will introduce what color energies are and how we can experience them in action.

Module 2

Insights Discovery provides insights into individual work and communication styles, values brought to the team, management styles, motivating factors and areas for personal development. Using C.G. Jung’s concept of three cognitive dimensions and a series of practical exercises and mini-lectures, the trainer will make participants better understand both their own way of doing things and other people’s. In particular, they will learn how to deal with the biggest challenge – how to interact with people manifesting a different strategy from ours in everyday life.
They will finish the workshop with a better awareness of themselves and other people, and will be equipped with basic tools for better communication and building healthier relationships.

Goals:

  • Learning the characteristics of Insights Discovery’s four color energies, the connections between them, and their strengths and weaknesses
  • Understanding the different functioning styles of others in order to better communicate, build healthier relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Development of a unique leadership, management style and clarification of areas for development.
