Situational leadership

Business simulation “Gold Rush”- through the experience of working in a dynamically changing environment, the effectiveness of styles based on instruction and delegation of tasks and authority is evident.

Participants will learn a universal leadership model based on the “want-can” matrix. They will relate it to safety culture and the changes they believe are still necessary to consolidate the change in organizational culture. To do this, they will learn about competency theory and the competency gap and, based on this, identify key competencies for safe work in their colleagues. They will learn the skills to consciously select the right leadership style for the stage a co-worker is at. They will learn to identify the resources that their co-workers have and plan for the development of their competencies. They will learn about development myths and discuss what they expect from their supervisors and health and safety services in this area.
